These Terms cover your use of the Crenel Systems website and the general terms of our advisory work. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for any engagement are set out in a separate written agreement, which controls if anything here conflicts with it.

What we do

Crenel Systems provides AI advisory and consulting for small, local, and mid-market businesses and for churches and ministries. Our services include AI Roadmaps, Fractional Chief AI Officer guidance, AI Training & Adoption, and select Implementation projects. We're advisory-first — we help you decide what's worth doing before anyone builds anything.

Your accounts and your data

In most engagements, you use your own accounts for the AI and software tools involved (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) and pay those providers directly. We do not mark up software, API usage, or hosting. You keep ownership of and control over your own accounts and data.

Who owns the work

The work we deliver for you — your roadmap, playbooks, prompts, configurations, and any custom automations we build during a paid engagement — is yoursonce it's paid for. We don't lock you into proprietary software you can't take with you.

AI has limits — keep a human in the loop

AI tools are powerful but probabilistic: they can produce errors or "hallucinations." Anything we set up for you is a drafting and support tool, not a replacement for human judgment. You are responsible for reviewing and validating outputs — records, invoices, client communications, and automated steps — before you rely on or act on them.We're not liable for errors produced by third-party AI systems.

Fees and payment

Fees are quoted in your written agreement. Work begins after the agreed deposit is paid (typically 50%). Your agreement spells out the billing type for the engagement (for example fixed fee or monthly retainer).

Cancellation

Either side can end an engagement in writing. You owe fees for the work completed and any milestones delivered up to the cancellation date.

No guarantee of specific results

We give you honest counsel and our best professional work. Actual results depend on things outside our control — your team's adoption, the third-party tools involved, and the state of your own data — so we don't guarantee specific financial outcomes.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Yavapai County, Arizona.
